A strip of paper on a purple table with pencil writing on it reads, "I used to have a best friend."

One-Sentence Stories from the middle schoolers at MMS

, ,

It was a blast visiting with the middle schoolers at MMS for a writing workshop! The students produced some wonderful work based on sensory memories or major “incidents” in their lives. Here are some of my favorite one-sentence stories from these creative kids!

I thought I had a best friend.

The full cafeteria smelled like old milk and stinky kids.

She fell on the floor in tug of war and it ended up tasting like dirt.

There was a sweet smell coming from the white van.

Sorry I threw you under the bus.
